Once you have determined that you are indeed working with an inherited emotion, you can ask a series of questions like the following:
Did you inherit this emotion from your mother's side? Your father's side?
Did he/she inherit the emotion from his/her mother/father?
How many generations back does this emotion go?
If the emotion seems to go back a very long time, you may want to write M or F every time you test a generation... However, it is not always necessary to know the entire genealogy of an inherited emotion. You can also ask:
Do we need to know more about this inherited trapped emotion? If the answer is NO, then go ahead and release it.
